Join us for a one-night-only whisky experience at our newly opened Hobart Cellar Door at MACq 01,  a unique celebration where Tasmania meets Japan in honour of Tasmanian Whisky Week.

We’re excited to welcome the internationally renowned Chichibu Distillery from Saitama, Japan, for an exclusive collaboration event with Callington Mill Distillery. Guests will be greeted with refreshing highballs and curated grazing plates before settling in for a guided masterclass in our cellar door space.

The evening will feature three remarkable whiskies from Chichibu alongside three standout expressions from Callington Mill, presented in a seated guided masterclass format.

Hosting on behalf of Chichibu is Australian importer and Casa de Vinos founder, Jose Dymenstein, sharing insights into the Chichibu story and the whiskies that have captivated whisky lovers worldwide.

Attendees will also enjoy exclusive access to limited stock, including rare bottlings, and get a sneak peek at what’s ahead for both distilleries.
