Step into the world of Callington Mill Distillery through a premium hosted whisky experience designed around storytelling, education, and curated tasting.

Texture, ABV & Aroma Release. Discover how strength, texture and a few drops of water transform every glass of Callington Mill whisky.

In this immersive 90-minute masterclass, you'll explore what cask strength really means and why alcohol strength plays such a powerful role in how whisky tastes, smells and feels. Guided by one of our whisky specialists, you'll unpack ABV, alcohol structure and mouthfeel, learn why higher strength changes the flavour you experience, and see how adding water opens a whisky up, releasing aromas that were locked away. We'll also explain oxidation in simple terms, so you can understand what happens to whisky once it meets the air.

Throughout the experience, you'll taste Town Hall Cask Strength alongside a selection of our single cask releases. Hands-on water addition experiments, side-by-side ABV comparisons, a live aroma release demonstration and texture comparison exercises bring each concept to life, showing you how to find the strength that suits your palate.

To finish the session, guests will be treated to our signature whisky macchiato.

Whether you're continuing your whisky education or simply want to get more out of every pour, this masterclass offers an engaging and memorable experience for whisky enthusiasts of all levels.
