TASTING NOTES
Colour: Deep Amber with Rich Copper
Nose: Marzipan and rich fruit cake lead the aroma, supported by sweet oak and the subtle nuttiness of apricot stones. Gentle almond and dried fruit notes give the nose depth and warmth.
Palate: A rounded, oily mouthfeel carries flavours of dried berry sweetness and green almonds. Layers of fresh orchard fruits emerge through the mid-palate, framed by well-integrated oak.
Finish: Medium in length with a warming spice. Lingering oak remains alongside subtle notes of cherry and a faint touch of tobacco.
Cask: Matured in a combination of sherry and port casks before evolving in Moscatel and Brandy, this 6.5 year old cask carries the warmth of its years — each cask leaving its mark on the final character.
