I'm really enjoying Emulsion. I like the more smooth variety of whisky and as such often lean to the triple distilled. Emulsion delivers on that beautifully. I get a caramel note and a really smooth finish. Great way to end the day :-)
Our founder John Ibrahim's love for Tasmanian Whisky resulted in a partnership with Damian Mackey at Shene Distillery.
Damian has exclusively crafted a triple distilled spirit for Callington Mill.
The spirit was matured in special handcrafted 100L Apera Casks from our wholly owned Cooperage at Pontville Tasmania.
Additional spirit was exclusively matured in small 20L Australian Apera Casks until ready to savour. The complexity then further evolved in an exclusive and rare Tawny Port Cask from the heart of the Douro Valley in Portugal and premium French Oak Cognac Casks.
As per the Single Malt Whisky's namesake, the three elements were then blended and integrated. Apera, Port & Cognac Casks fuse together to produce a light and elegant spirit with notes of pineapple, vanilla and Turkish delight making this a bright and vibrant whisky.
