This triple distilled Single Malt Whisky is named Sherry Fusion & was crafted by Damian Mackey, our founder, John Ibrahim's partner at Shene Distillery. The fusion of Australian Apera cask matured whisky was evolved in exclusive 100L Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Casks from the Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, Spain. The Sherry Fusion Tasmanian Whisky is a light chestnut colour, depicting notes of dark chocolate, Christmas pudding and toffee.

Awarded Silver at the 2022 International Wine & Spirit Competition, with a score of 90. The judges noted the Single Malt Whisky to offer a “thick, honeyed nose with wonderful delicate floral notes that combines with seductive spices of cinnamon. Juicy, yet peppery, with a wine-influenced finish.”

The IWSC describes the spirits awarded Silver to be “accomplished with good balance, strong character and good complexity. A classic example of its style or variety”.
